FX Hybrid Slugs .22 22 gr – 5.5 mm – 100 pcs
FX Hybrid Slugs .22 22 gr
The FX Hybrid Slugs .22 combine characteristics of traditional diabolo pellets with those of modern slugs. This version has a calibre of 5.5 mm / .22 and a weight of 22 grain. Their elongated shape and relatively low weight are designed to provide a stable flight path and strong performance at longer distances.
FX combines the relatively small contact area of a diabolo pellet with the more efficient ballistic shape of a slug. The projectile features a fully hollow core and a deeply recessed base.
Hybrid design
The external shape follows the profile of a conventional slug, while the fully hollow core keeps the overall weight relatively low. This makes the FX Hybrid Slug light for its length and calibre while retaining the aerodynamic advantages of a slug-style projectile.
The deeply recessed base supports sealing and alignment inside the barrel. This makes the Hybrid Slug an interesting alternative for shooters who want to experiment beyond conventional diabolo pellets.
Developed for PCP airguns
The FX Hybrid Slugs were developed for modern PCP airguns and are not limited to FX models. Their design is, however, specifically optimised for FX Smooth Twist X (STX) barrels.
As every barrel and PCP setup can respond differently to slugs, it is worth testing different settings to determine which combination delivers the best accuracy in your airgun.
