AirForce Texan LSS

The AirForce Texan LSS is a big-bore PCP airgun that combines the long barrel of the standard Texan with the Sound-Loc system used on the Texan SS. This makes the LSS suitable for shooters who want to retain the full-length Texan platform while reducing shot noise.

The Texan LSS is equipped with a long Lothar Walther barrel and a straightforward single-shot action. The generous loading port provides enough space for heavy pellets and slugs, while the sidelever offers direct and practical operation.

34-inch Lothar Walther barrel

The Texan LSS retains the 34-inch barrel of the standard Texan. The barrel is manufactured by Lothar Walther and is one of the main differences compared with the shorter Texan SS.

By keeping the full barrel length, the LSS combines the long Texan platform with integrated sound reduction. The barrel length is approximately 864 mm.

Sound-Loc system

The barrel is surrounded by the AirForce Sound-Loc system. This construction uses a reflex-style design in which part of the sound-reduction system surrounds the barrel. This helps reduce shot noise without unnecessarily increasing the overall length.

The LSS therefore sits between the standard Texan and the more compact Texan SS: it keeps the full barrel length while adding an integrated Sound-Loc system.

Single-shot action

The AirForce Texan LSS uses a single-shot loading system. A pellet or slug is inserted directly into the large loading port and is then loaded using the sidelever.

The simple design allows the use of different heavy projectiles without being limited by the maximum projectile length of a magazine.

Adjustable for different projectiles

The Texan platform can be tuned for different pellet and slug weights. This allows the shooter to find a suitable balance between projectile weight, air consumption and accuracy.

Aluminium or carbon air tank

The Texan LSS is available in different versions with either an aluminium or carbon air tank. Tank capacity and maximum fill pressure can therefore vary depending on the exact version.

Only the Texan versions with a carbon air tank are equipped with the TX2 valve. It is therefore important to check the exact configuration and calibre selected.

Rails for optics and accessories

The Texan LSS features a Picatinny rail for mounting a riflescope or other optic. Dovetail accessory rails are also provided for additional equipment.

The long upper section offers plenty of mounting space for different optics and mounts.
