The Hornady Super Shock Tip SST is equipped with a polymer tip that ensures a controlled expansion of the bullet upon impact. The jacket of the bullet is equipped with an interlock ring that holds the jacket and the core of the bullet together. The SST therefore creates a devastatingly large wound channel.
