The Niebling 17-strand cleaning cord is designed for convenient pull-through barrel cleaning. This version is suitable for various calibres ranging from .30 to .357 / 7.62 to 9 mm.
The flexible cleaning cord can be pulled through the barrel from the chamber towards the muzzle. It provides a practical way to clean the barrel without using a traditional cleaning rod.
What is a cleaning cord used for?
The cleaning cord is pulled through the barrel to help remove loose fouling and residue. It is suitable for regular barrel maintenance after shooting and can be used alongside brushes, cleaning pellets and other products when more thorough cleaning is required.
For more intensive cleaning, the cord can be used with a suitable barrel cleaner. If necessary, it can be pulled through the barrel several times to gradually remove remaining residue.
