Seating stems for different bullet profiles

A seating stem transfers pressure to the bullet during the seating operation. The profile of the stem should match the shape of the bullet as closely as possible. Hornady offers dedicated seating stems for bullet lines including A-MAX, ELD Match, ELD-X and A-Tip in various calibres and bullet weights.

Using the correct seating stem helps ensure consistent bullet seating and reduces the risk of marking or deforming the bullet during assembly.
