Gehmann 781 Diopter Eyeshield for Target Shooting
Gehmann 781 Diopter Eyeshield
The Gehmann 781 Diopter Eyeshield is a practical accessory for target and competition shooters who want to reduce visual distractions while aiming. Mounted directly onto the diopter sight, the eyeshield covers part of the shooter's field of view, helping maintain concentration on the sight picture.
Its slim design is intended to comply with the relevant DSB and ISSF regulations. The Gehmann 781 is suitable for both right-handed and left-handed shooters and is available in two colour options.
Improved Focus and Shooting Comfort
A clear and consistent sight picture is essential for precision target shooting. The Gehmann 781 Eyeshield helps reduce distracting visual influences, allowing the shooter to keep the non-aiming eye open rather than constantly closing or squinting it.
This can help reduce facial muscle tension and promote a more relaxed shooting position during training and competitions.
Easy Installation and Adjustable Position
The eyeshield slides over the threaded section of the diopter aperture disc and can be rotated into the preferred position.
An integrated rubber retaining ring provides a secure fit, allowing the eyeshield to be positioned according to the shooter's individual preferences.
Slim Design for DSB and ISSF Competition
The Gehmann 781 features a narrow profile designed to meet the relevant requirements of the German Shooting Federation (DSB) and the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF).
This makes it a suitable choice for competitive target shooters who want to configure their equipment in accordance with competition regulations. Always check the latest rules for your specific shooting discipline before participating in a competition.
Available in Two Colour Variants
The Gehmann 781 Diopter Eyeshield is available in two versions:
- Gehmann 781-N – Translucent White: A light-transmitting version that reduces visual distractions without completely darkening the covered area.
- Gehmann 781S-N – Black: An opaque version that blocks the view through the covered section of the field of vision.
Both versions feature the same mounting system and are suitable for right-handed and left-handed shooters. Select your preferred colour when ordering.
