Gehmann 780W / 780S Diopter Eyeshield for Iris Diopters

Gehmann 780W / 780S Diopter Eyeshield 30 mm

The Gehmann 780W / 780S Diopter Eyeshield is a 30 mm wide accessory designed for precision target shooting and competition use. It helps reduce visual distractions by shielding the non-aiming eye, allowing shooters to concentrate on a clear and consistent sight picture without having to close one eye.

Designed for standard 1-inch iris diopters and aperture discs, this eyeshield features a convenient push-on mounting system. It can be rotated into the preferred position to suit the shooter's individual aiming posture. Two colour variants are available: translucent white and black.

Improved Focus and Shooting Comfort

Maintaining a relaxed and consistent head position is important during precision target shooting. Constantly closing or squinting the non-aiming eye can create unnecessary tension in the facial muscles.

The Gehmann 780W / 780S Eyeshield helps block distracting visual information while allowing both eyes to remain open. This can promote a more relaxed aiming position, particularly during extended training sessions and competitions.

Easy Installation and Adjustable Position

The eyeshield slides over the appropriate mounting section of a compatible iris diopter or aperture disc. Its push-on design allows straightforward installation without complicated adjustments.

Once fitted, the eyeshield can be rotated to achieve the preferred position, allowing shooters to adapt the shielding effect to their individual head position and shooting stance.

30 mm Eyeshield for Competition Shooting

The Gehmann 780W / 780S features a 30 mm wide design intended for precision target shooting. Its construction follows the relevant ISSF requirements for eyeshields used in competitive shooting.

Competition regulations may vary between disciplines and can change over time. Always check the latest rules issued by the relevant shooting federation before using an eyeshield in an official competition.

Two Colour Options: Translucent White and Black

The Gehmann 780W / 780S Diopter Eyeshield is available in two versions:

• Gehmann 780W-N – Translucent White: A light-transmitting eyeshield that reduces visual distractions without completely darkening the covered area.
• Gehmann 780S-N – Black: An opaque eyeshield that provides darker shielding for the non-aiming eye.

Both versions share the same dimensions and mounting method. Select your preferred colour from the available product variants.
