34-inch Lothar Walther barrel

The AirForce Texan is fitted with a 34-inch barrel manufactured by Lothar Walther, a German company known for precision-made barrels.

At approximately 864 mm long, the barrel is a central part of the Texan platform. Its full-length design makes efficient use of the available compressed air and is well suited to heavy big-bore projectiles.

Single-shot action with large loading port

The Texan uses a single-shot loading system. A pellet or slug is inserted directly into the loading port and is then loaded using the sidelever.

Because there is no magazine, projectile length is not limited by magazine dimensions. This allows the use of a wide range of heavy pellets and slugs.

Adjustable for different projectiles

The AirForce Texan can be tuned for different projectile weights. This allows the shooter to find a suitable balance between velocity, air consumption and accuracy.

Actual performance depends on the selected calibre, projectile weight and airgun setup.

Aluminium and carbon air tank versions

The AirForce Texan has been produced in different generations and configurations. Some versions use an aluminium air tank, while others are fitted with a carbon air tank.

Carbon-tank versions can operate at a higher fill pressure and newer Texan models use the more powerful TX2 valve. Not every Texan version is equipped with this valve, so the exact configuration should always be checked for the selected model and calibre.

Rails for optics and accessories

The Texan is fitted with a mounting rail for a riflescope or other optic. Newer versions combine a Picatinny rail with additional dovetail rails for accessories.

This provides plenty of flexibility for different optics, mounts and accessories.
