PARD Night Stalker 5K eX 70 mm Digital Night Vision Scope

PARD Night Stalker 5K eX 70 mm – Digital Night Vision Scope
The PARD Night Stalker 5K eX 70 mm is an advanced digital night vision scope designed for both daytime and nighttime use. It combines a high-resolution 5K CMOS sensor with a 70 mm objective lens and a laser rangefinder integrated directly into the objective lens assembly. For nighttime operation, the scope supports separately available 850 nm or 940 nm infrared illumination.
Key Features
- High-resolution 5K CMOS sensor with 4096 × 3024 pixels
- 70 mm objective lens for higher optical magnification
- Suitable for both daytime and nighttime use
- Laser rangefinder integrated into the objective lens assembly, with a measuring range of up to 1,000 metres
- Compatible with 850 nm and 940 nm IR illumination
- Supports mounting a compatible PARD IR illuminator on top of the scope
- Alternative IR illuminators can be mounted using a suitable bracket attached to the 30 mm scope tube
Image Quality and Night Vision Performance
The PARD Night Stalker 5K eX features a high-resolution CMOS image sensor with 4096 × 3024 pixels. This sensor provides detailed digital imaging during daylight and in low-light conditions.
In darkness, a suitable external infrared illuminator can provide additional illumination. This allows the night vision scope to be adapted to different lighting conditions and observation distances.
Optics and Magnification
The 70 mm version is designed for users who prefer higher optical magnification. This makes it particularly suitable for observing fine details at longer distances.
Compared with the 50 mm version, the 70 mm model provides higher magnification but a narrower field of view. Choosing between these versions therefore depends on the desired magnification and the amount of surrounding area the user wishes to observe.
Integrated Laser Rangefinder
The PARD Night Stalker 5K eX features a laser rangefinder (LRF) with a measuring range of up to 1,000 metres. The rangefinder is integrated directly into the objective lens assembly, eliminating the need for a separate external rangefinder module mounted on top of the scope.
This integrated system allows users to measure the distance to a target directly through the scope while maintaining a streamlined design.
Infrared Illumination – 850 nm or 940 nm
The PARD Night Stalker 5K eX supports external infrared illumination with wavelengths of 850 nm or 940 nm. Both options are compatible with the scope, allowing users to select the most suitable illumination for their requirements.
- 850 nm: Generally provides a longer effective illumination range when comparing similar IR illuminators. A faint red glow may be visible at the light source.
- 940 nm: Produces a less visible infrared light source. With comparable illuminators, the effective illumination range is generally shorter than with 850 nm.
IR Illuminator Mounting Options
The Night Stalker 5K eX offers flexible mounting options for external infrared illumination:
- PARD IR illuminator: A compatible PARD infrared illuminator can be mounted directly on top of the scope.
- Alternative IR illuminator: A suitable third-party infrared illuminator can be attached using a compatible mounting bracket fitted to the 30 mm scope tube.
This flexibility allows users to select an IR illuminator according to their preferred illumination range and application without being limited to the original PARD lighting system.
Important: The infrared illuminator must be selected separately. When using an alternative IR illuminator, ensure that the mounting bracket is compatible with the 30 mm scope tube and the diameter of the illuminator.
Operation and Additional Features
The PARD Night Stalker 5K eX combines the familiar appearance of a traditional riflescope with modern digital night vision technology. Its electronic image display allows observation under a wide range of lighting conditions.
The integrated laser rangefinder provides convenient distance measurements without requiring an additional external rangefinding device.
