HIKMICRO Thunder 4.0 TX70CL Thermal Clip-On 70 mm 1280x1024 with LRF

Product description

HIKMICRO Thunder 4.0 TX70CL Thermal Clip-On

The HIKMICRO Thunder 4.0 TX70CL is a premium thermal imaging clip-on designed to deliver exceptional image detail and long-range observation capabilities. Featuring a 1280 x 1024 thermal sensor, a 70 mm F1.3 objective lens and an integrated laser rangefinder, it represents the flagship model of the Thunder 4.0 series.

With a detection range of up to 3,500 metres and thermal sensitivity below 12 mK, the TX70CL can reveal subtle temperature differences even in challenging conditions. Its combination of high resolution, impressive detection range and a wide field of view makes it particularly suitable for demanding thermal observation.

1280 x 1024 Thermal Sensor for Exceptional Detail

The high-resolution thermal sensor features a 12 µm pixel pitch, providing detailed thermal images with clearly defined contours. Its resolution allows fine structures and small temperature differences to remain visible at greater distances.

The powerful 70 mm F1.3 objective lens provides excellent long-range detection capabilities, while the field of view of 22.4 x 18.0 metres at 100 metres offers a useful overview of the surrounding area.

Image Pro 4.0, HSIS and Sync Pro

The Thunder 4.0 series incorporates advanced image processing technologies to deliver sharp, stable and responsive thermal images.

  • Image Pro 4.0: enhances image sharpness, contrast and the visibility of fine details.
  • HSIS: the HIKMICRO Shutterless Image System reduces image interruptions caused by automatic calibration.
  • Sync Pro: minimises the delay between movement in the observed scene and its appearance on the display.

These technologies work together to provide a smooth viewing experience, particularly when observing moving heat sources.

Integrated Laser Rangefinder up to 1,200 Metres

The HIKMICRO Thunder 4.0 TX70CL features an integrated laser rangefinder (LRF) with a measuring range of 10 to 1,200 metres. This allows distances to observed objects to be measured directly without requiring a separate rangefinding device.

As the rangefinder is integrated into the optical system, the TX70CL maintains a compact design and straightforward operation.

Full HD OLED Display

The 0.49-inch OLED display offers a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, delivering clear images with excellent contrast. Combined with the high-resolution thermal sensor, it provides detailed thermal viewing with well-defined contours.

Several colour palettes and adjustable display brightness allow the image to be adapted to different observation conditions and individual preferences.

Intuitive Controls and Fast Start-Up

The TX70CL features a convenient rotary switch with On, Standby and Off positions. Thanks to its fast start-up function, the device can return from standby to operational status in approximately two seconds.

A customisable quick menu provides direct access to frequently used functions. An integrated brightness sensor and tilt sensor further improve ease of use.

Photo and Video Recording with HIKMICRO Sight

With 64 GB of internal storage, the TX70CL can save photos and videos directly to the device. It also supports audio recording and event-triggered video capture.

Wireless connectivity and compatibility with the HIKMICRO Sight app allow recordings to be viewed and managed conveniently, making it easy to document observations and review them later.

Replaceable Battery and Durable Housing

The HIKMICRO Thunder 4.0 TX70CL is supplied with two replaceable, rechargeable lithium-ion battery packs. Each battery provides at least five hours of operation under specified test conditions. Actual operating time depends on factors such as ambient temperature and the functions in use.

The durable magnesium alloy housing has an IP67 protection rating, offering resistance to dust and water ingress. Weighing approximately 575 grams including the battery, the TX70CL remains relatively compact considering its large objective lens and high-resolution sensor.
