Niebling Cleaning Pellets .357 / 9.3 mm
Niebling cleaning pellets in .357 / 9.3 mm are calibre-specific felt pellets designed for cleaning the inside of the bore. They are used with a suitable pellet holder and cleaning rod and are suitable for both routine maintenance and more thorough bore cleaning.
As the pellets pass through the bore, they make contact with the internal surface and help pick up loosened residue and fouling. They can be used dry or together with a suitable bore cleaning product.
Cleaning the bore with Niebling cleaning pellets
For a thorough clean, the pellets can be combined with a suitable cleaning rod, pellet holder and, if required, a bore cleaner. A cleaning product can first be used to loosen fouling inside the bore. The cleaning pellets are then pushed through to collect loosened residue and excess cleaning fluid.
If necessary, repeat the process with clean pellets until they come out almost clean. For heavier fouling, the cleaning pellets can be used together with a suitable cleaning brush.
Part of a complete cleaning system
These cleaning pellets are especially useful when used with a cleaning rod and calibre-specific maintenance accessories. This allows the different stages of bore cleaning to be carried out separately: a brush can loosen heavier fouling, while the felt pellets help remove loosened residue and cleaning fluid from the bore.
If you use cleaning rods and accessories with different thread types, a suitable cleaning rod adapter may be required. Always check the thread size of both the cleaning rod and pellet holder before use.
