FX Hybrid Slugs .25 26.3 gr – 6.35 mm – 100 pcs
FX Hybrid Slugs .25 26.3 gr
The FX Hybrid Slugs .25 combine characteristics of traditional diabolo pellets with those of modern slugs. This version has a diameter of 6.35 mm / .25 and a weight of 26.3 grain. Their relatively low weight and elongated shape are designed to provide a stable flight path and strong performance at longer distances.
Where a traditional diabolo pellet benefits from a relatively small contact area inside the barrel, a slug generally offers a more efficient ballistic shape. FX combines both concepts by using a fully hollow core, a deeply recessed base and an optimised bearing surface.
Hybrid design
The external shape follows the profile of a slug, while the fully hollow core keeps the overall weight relatively low. This allows the Hybrid Slug to remain light for its length and calibre while retaining the aerodynamic advantages of a slug-style projectile.
The deeply recessed base helps the slug seal and centre inside the barrel. This makes the Hybrid Slugs an interesting option for shooters who want to experiment beyond conventional diabolo pellets.
Developed for PCP airguns
FX developed the Hybrid Slugs with modern PCP airguns in mind. They are not limited to FX rifles, but they have been specifically developed to work well with FX Smooth Twist X (STX) barrels.
As every barrel and PCP setup can respond differently to slugs, it is worth testing different settings and velocities to determine which combination gives the best accuracy in your airgun.
