FX Crown MKII Walnut

The FX Crown MKII Walnut has, as the name suggests, a beautiful walnut stock. Equipped with a thumb hole and a raised cheek piece, this PCP air rifle fits particularly well in the hand. At the rear of the stock there is an adjustable shoulder pad made of soft rubber.

FX is known for the adjustability of various parts in its rifles, which of course also applies to the Crown MK II Walnut. The Crown MK II is equipped with a regulator that is externally adjustable, the AMP or Adjustable Match Precision regulator. The front wheel reduces the passage of air in the barrel in 3 positions. Further on in the stock there is a wheel that controls the adjustment of the hammer spring, which is easy to adjust on the outside, but for the real fine-tuner this can be adjusted even more finely on the inside of the PCP rifle.

You can adjust these settings to the type and weight of the pellet you use. In many cases it is easy to use a speed meter so that you can clearly see your results.

Plenum

The plenum is the reservoir that contains a pre-filled amount of air that is released when you pull the trigger. This is 28% larger than the previous model, the valve stem is also 6.5 mm in diameter and the air supply channels have been adjusted and are a lot more spacious. All this ensures that you have more power available.

If you want to equip the Crown MK II with a different barrel better suited for slugs or a different caliber, this is a piece of cake. The Crown MK II is equipped with the Superlight Smooth Twist X or STX barrel system. With this system you can change the liner, the part where the pellet actually touches the barrel. There is a choice of liners for different calibers and types of pellets, for example for slugs or regular pellets.

The FX liners are of very high quality that provide the right amount of friction so that the slugs or pellets leave the barrel in an optimal way.

Adjustable trigger

Not only is the force adjustable on the Crown MK II Walnut, but also the trigger system. The rifle is equipped with an FX 2 Stage Match trigger where the trigger pressure and trigger travel are adjustable in both stages.

The Crown MK II is equipped with a carbon fiber air reservoir with a capacity of 480 cc that can be filled to a maximum pressure of 250 bar. The compressed air rifle is equipped with a Weaver/Picatnny rail with a 20 MOA difference between the front and rear of the rail. This means that the mounted rifle scope is mounted upwards on the rail at a very small angle. This is especially nice if you shoot at a longer distance and need more range in the height setting of the rifle scope.
