Niebling Cleaning Cord .22 / 5.56 mm – 7-Strand – Barrel Cleaning
Niebling Cleaning Cord .22 / 5.56 mm – 7-Strand
The Niebling 7-strand cleaning cord is a practical tool for cleaning barrels in .22 / 5.56 mm calibres. The flexible cord is pulled through the barrel to help remove loose fouling and residue.
The cleaning cord is particularly useful for regular barrel maintenance after shooting. It provides a convenient way to pull through the barrel without using a traditional cleaning rod.
Practical for regular barrel maintenance
The cleaning cord is pulled through the barrel from the chamber towards the muzzle. As it passes through, the cord makes contact with the inside of the barrel and helps pick up loose fouling and residue.
Depending on the level of fouling, the cord can be pulled through the barrel several times. For more thorough cleaning, it can be combined with a suitable barrel cleaner, brush or cleaning pellets.
7-strand design
This version consists of 7 strands and is designed for the smaller diameter of .22 / 5.56 mm barrels. Its flexible construction makes the cord easy to pull through the barrel during regular maintenance.
Suitable for .22 / 5.56 mm
This version of the Niebling cleaning cord is intended for compatible barrels in .22 / 5.56 mm calibres. Using the correct size provides good contact with the inside of the barrel during cleaning.
