The FX Airguns Slug Power Kit for the Wildcat MKIII and Maverick has been developed for shooters who want to optimise their rifle for modern slug ammunition. By combining an adjustable pellet probe with a heavier tungsten hammer weight, this upgrade allows you to fine-tune both projectile seating depth and valve performance, resulting in improved velocity, greater consistency and enhanced long-range accuracy.

The centrepiece of the kit is the adjustable 5.5 mm (.22) pellet probe. Using the adjustment screw at the rear, the seating depth of the slug can be precisely modified. Since slug seating depth directly influences accuracy, the probe allows you to optimise your rifle for a specific slug design. The supplied precision sleeves also make the probe compatible with 6.35 mm (.25) and 7.62 mm (.30) calibres, allowing one kit to be used across multiple configurations.

The kit also includes a tungsten hammer weight. Thanks to tungsten's significantly higher density, the hammer weight is approximately 1.7 times heavier than the standard version. This keeps the valve open slightly longer, allowing more compressed air to pass through the transfer port. The result is increased muzzle velocity, improved energy transfer and more consistent performance when shooting heavier slugs.

All components are CNC-machined to tight tolerances and are designed as a direct upgrade for all FX Wildcat MKIII and FX Maverick models. Installation is straightforward and requires no permanent modifications to the rifle.
